Welcome to the 80s!

Neon Overdrive is an Arcade-Racer with a colorful 80s-Style and vivid Synthwave-Ambience.

First introduced as "EMI Overdrive", Neon Overdrive was developed as part of the "EMI-Award",  an annual Event, surrounding the "Medieninformatik" (HCI) - Degree at the University of Lübeck, Germany. 

It quickly conquered its players hearts with its colorful 80s palette and indulging synthwave soundtrack. Artstyle, Assets, Music and Sounddesign have been carefully handcrafted by our team, to match our own expectations and to create something we would enjoy ourselves.

The simplistic and straight-forward gameplay gains momentum due to the online leaderboard, which highlights the best 10 players of all time for everyone to see.

Try out for yourself and leave us feedback on how we can improve, since this is one of our first games we have ever made!
